Just a month ago, Facebook has revised its rules for fan page cover images.  You now can include calls to action, contact information, prices or purchase information within the cover photo.  One rule that is still in effect is that text can not exceed 20% of the overlay.

You’re now free to include the information below within your cover photo:

  • Price or purchase information, such as “20% off” or “Download it on YourURL.com,”
  • Any contact information, like your website address, email, mailing address, or any information that Facebook wants you to put in your pages “About” section.
  • References to Facebook features or actions, such as “Like” or “Share” or an arrow pointing from the cover photo to any of these features.
  • Any call to action, such as “Get it Now” or “Tell your Friends.”

 

Fanpage Checker:

Fanpage Checker is a free service that will determine if your cover photo is within the new guidlines of 20% or less  text overlay in your cover photo.

What would it take for each of us to Double Our Fan page Likes in the next month??

Well the goal of this series is to help us business owners to double our Fan Page likes in the month of April by implementing industry wide strategies.  I’m at 88, so my goal is to reach 176 likes by May 1st.  Who of you also wants to double your Fan page likes??

Lets start at the beginning…for one ,I will direct you to where to go ..but I won’t hold you hand and do a step by step instruction on how to get a Fan Page up…there are so many resources out there..My job in this training to highlight what we all need to be doing on and with the Fan Page to create engagement with our audiences, our potential customers and our customers.

Why Do We Want to Double Our Likes on Our Fan Page?

So if you are a business owner small or large you will want to take advantage of creating a Facebook  Fan Page. Your Fan Page is where you can effectively promote and brand your business in order to get closer to your customers and audience.

From your Facebook page, there’s a tab “Create a Page”. Choose from the categories what best describes your business and complete all the data requested.

If you have already set up a Fan Page…be sure that the brief description and bio are filled out.  State exactly who you are, what’s your business about, what services and or products you provide. This is one of the most important areas to complete. Describe your business, what’s your goal who is your business for .

Be sure to include contact information; phone number, email addresses and websites.  You want to be reachable to potential customers and customers. And if you have a website, you want people to be able to check you out online.

Fan Page Cover Photo

Add a great cover photo that either represents your business; products or services or a lifestyle that you are reaping from your business.  There’s some Fan Page “rules” that you must follow that specially address what the cover photo CAN NOT showcase.  Facebook wants your Page cover photo to be an eye-catching photograph, not an advertisement or wordy graphic.  Here’s a list what you can’t have displayed in your cover photo:

  • Price or purchase information, such as “20% off” or “Download it on YourURL.com,”
  • Any contact information, like your website address, email, mailing address, or any information that Facebook wants you to put in your pages “About” section.
  • References to Facebook features or actions, such as “Like” or “Share” or an arrow pointing from the cover photo to any of these features.
  • Any call to action, such as “Get it Now” or “Tell your Friends.”

What you can have as an image that brands your business; products and /or services:

  • Icons of awards won
  • Employees in action
  • Candid photos of customers enjoying your products &/or services (but get their permission!)
  • Company founders
  • Your Products
  • Before and after photos
  • Company Logos Who Have Used Your Services
  • Store interior or exterior photos
  • Your Company’s Logo
  • You in Action: at meetings, conferences, at the office, at events

Create a Cover Photo As a Collage

To shake up your cover photo and create some fireworks, you can create a collage of multiple photos that represent your brand.

One of the best, most talked about tools is PicMonkey. (PicMonkey.com)  This is a FREE user friendly online photo editing tool that allows you to create a very eye catching cover photo using many of your own photos to create a collage of photos that represents you and your business.

How To Increase Your Business Revenue and Profits

Every business owner’s goal is to increase sales of their products or services, thereby increasing revenue and profits.  Listed below are the 8 ways to increase your business profits.

1.     Increase Your Prices Will Increase Your Business Revenue

The #1 way to increase your business revenue is to raise your prices on a yearly basis.  When you provide your customers with value that they want in the form of a product or service, a 5% to even a 20% increase won’t make a huge difference to them.  Make it your mission to over serve and educate your consumer beyond your competitors. WOW your customers.

 2.    Increase the Number of Leads

Leads are known as a potential sales contacts.  The more you expose your  offer, the more likely someone will buy from you.  To increase your leads you must advertise consistently, either through paid or unpaid advertisement.

Examples of generating leads are: e-mail marketing, solo ads, social media marketing, article marketing, press releases, pay per click, pay per view, video marketing, direct mail, presentations and blogs.

Must have some method in place to capture names and email addresses. if doing it online

3.    Increase Your Conversions 

By increasing the number of times you expose your offer to potential customers, you increase your odds of those customers buying your products or services. So if you expose your offer to 100 people and 10 people buy, you have a 10% conversion rate.   Hint:  Your marketing must be targeted to the right audience who want what you have to offer that will solve their problem and want to buy from you. 

4.    Increase Frequency of SalesIncrease Your Revenue

 The more often you expose  your offer to your current customers, the more likely they will buy from you. Your customers have already determined that your product, content and services are of value to them, they trust of what you have to offer  so will most likely buy from you over and over.

5.    Increase Payment Frequency

Offer your customers a product, content or service that is either consumable or part of an ongoing information platform that’s continuously needed over and over again, generating a reoccurring bill.

You can accomplish this by offering your customers a monthly or yearly membership, where you provide valuable information to your customers.  You can provide a monthly auto- ship plan of your products, or by offering continuing education and training programs on a monthly /yearly payment schedule. 

6.    Affiliate Marketing – Other Peoples Products & Services

Offer your customers other people’s products, content or services that are in alignment and compliment your own products, content and services and make a commission from the originator of the goods.  

Most people when they become passionate or obsessed with a subject matter they will buy everything on the subject from different authors.

The same is true for products and services.  By promoting other peoples content, products etc., to your customers that have a relationship with you and trust you, you continuously provide value to them while making a commission from the sale.  

 7.    Acquire Sponsors, Partners and Investors

 Use promotional sponsors, partners and investors who mission is similar to yours.  Your products and services will compliment what they provide to their customers so they will gladly promote you to their customers.

These groups generally have large customer lists and are looking for content, product and services to market to their customers throughout the year. They in turn make a commission or receive something of value from you by promoting you.  With this method, it’s all about exposure to a larger customer list than what you personally have obtained on your own. 

 8.    Direct Sellers

 These are people who sell your product or services for you.  They make a commission based on their volume of sales on a monthly basis.  You are leveraging your time through a continuous sales team that not only promotes and sells your product to customers but also enrolls other people onto the sales team.

This is the business model that Multi Level Marketing/Direct Sales/Network Marketing companies use to move products and services out to the masses.

This device allows you to record videos hands free.  No need to find someone to be your camera man. 

The Swivl is a small motorized docking station which you mount your iPhone or any video camera, that weighs less than 6 ounces, right on its base. 

You wear a nifty tracking device either on your clothing or clipped onto a lanyard hung around your neck.  As you move, the iPhone moves horizontally or vertically following your every move.

The newest version has a built in microphone on the tracking devise so your voice is consistently being recorded with little variation.   

You either place the Swivl on a hard surface or you can mount it to a tripod.

Swivl is easy to set up right out of the box. Comes with all the necessary batteries and within minutes we were recording video hands free.

Swivl is a great device to use if you are an onstage speaker, teacher, a trainer, video blogger or just want to record a video with just yourself in the screen or everybody in the screen.   You can also use the Swivl when you’re on Face time and you want to be hands free.  The uses are really unlimited.
